Greg at Hares of Berkshire has provided some excellent bodywork and restoration for me over the years, including resprays for classic cars and rust repairs to panels.
Greg and his team can estimate any body work for your classic car. They specialise in classic Mini’s, but have been known to work on any scale of classic.
Hardy Engineering is a family owned transmission and gearbox repair business, specialising in all types of transmission repairs – from pre-war to more modern classic cars.
Bill at Hardy Engineering has provided me with several Sprite and Midget gearboxes, including rebuilds for smooth case gearboxes for earlier cars. He has great knowledge and always delivers good service.
Classic and Modern in Bracknell provide engineering and engine rebuild services for both standard or race applications.
Toby at Classic and Modern has provided engine and cylinder head reconditioning services for me, including a stage 2 A-Series engine for my Mk4 Sprite.

JLH was founded in 1993 by Jonathon Heap, and has earned an enviable reputation for quality and value. Based in Napton JLH now has a 4000sq ft workshop. Facilities include a dedicated paint shop with a low bake booth and a preparing and finishing area, a further shop for welding and another for assembly. Two bays are dedicated to Morris Minor Traveller welding , woodwork and new resto-mod improvements for MG Midgets and Morris Minors – including new suspension, brakes and steering assemblies.
Jonathon is an incredibly knowledgable and helpful engineer. His workmanship is second to none – and he offers some amazing upgrades if you want your Minor or Midget to really perform.
Classic MG’s restored and remastered by Frontline Developments.
Frontline Developments was established in 1991 by Tim Fenna with a personal remit to improve the underpinnings and ultimately enhance the driving experience of classic MG cars. The key ethos however was to create this ultimate driving machine without losing any of the character or charm when sat behind the wheel of these iconic cars.
Tim has provided me with some invaluable help and advice in recent years. Additionally, I am using Frontline parts on my Zetec Midget, resulting in it’s fabulous handling and performance.

Bill Rawles offers a complete service for classic car owners, from total restoration to parts fabrication and everything in between. Specialising in big Healey’s but taking on almost any type of project, Bill and his team do some really astounding quality work.
I entrusted my blue Frogeye’s body to Bill and the team – and the result was a car that was better than the original in every way. The quality of workmanship and the time that they put into the project was very impressive.
Professional vehicle valeting and detailing in Wokingham.
Rob Matthews at Attention to detailing is one of the hardest working people I know. He’s often up at 4am to go and clean a fleet of commercial vehicles before they are sent out to customer sites. Rob has a huge amount of experience with machine polishing and detailing for anything from an articulated lorry to an MG Midget. He has a dedicated workshop that means your car is looked after in a dry and secure environment – or he can provide a fully mobile service in and around the Reading / Thames Valley area.
The results are amazing, and he really puts in the time to make your pride and joy look better than brand new.
